SIMUL CNC Innovation is a Danish company in Veksø, northwest of Copenhagen, founded in 2023 by Peter Bang-Jensen, who leads it as CEO. We went looking for a machine that could start small and scale into automated production. We could not find one, so we started designing our own.
SIMUL builds compact, modular CNC machine tools, designed for automation from the start. The goal: more production output with less manual machine tending, on less floor space, at a cost a small or mid-size shop can carry.
The Unicorn 5-200 Modular is a 5-axis machining center with a 60,000 rpm spindle on under 2 m² of floor. It is designed to stack into a cluster with shared automation, so a shop adds output one module at a time.

We support the machines we deliver for the long term. Every machine ships with its manuals, schematics, and a backup of the machine parameters. The control, spindle, probing, and rotary drives come from FANUC, IBAG, Renishaw, and Harmonic Drive.
I started SIMUL because small and mid-size shops deserve the production economics that big factories get from automation, without the integration project. We build machines designed to stack, so a shop can scale to lights-out one module at a time and keep every machine it already owns. We design and build the machine in-house.
